When we arrived at the airport, Franck was waiting for us. Little did he know the week he was in for! We visited the site and the surrounding area, but most of all, we asked tons and tons of questions. \u201cHow did it all start… We spent the last 3 years crossing Canada from coast to coast via the internet to find a little spot that captures the spirit of all the seasons. Mireille had a fondness for Mont-Tremblant. We sent an email to DTN and got a response in our language (English) right away from Nancy Houston. She provided us with all the details on the developments, allowing us to choose the one that would meet our needs. After 4 months of long-distance discussions, we were able to organize our visit to the site in March of 2010. We were welcomed by Nancy, who showed us all around the DTN developments and the Tremblant area. We found a lot at Secret Life that will let us build our dream cottage in the forest with its spectacular views! DTN owners Richard and Jos\u00e9e and their team not only welcomed us warmly as potential buyers but also as friends. Their message is clear: We are here for you and want you to stay with us. At a hockey game in Lausanne, we met Serge and Gilbert, who told us about the Laurentians. We took advantage of our trip to visit the different developments and, to the great surprise of our friends back home, we set our sights on a plot of land in the Nostalgia development. By the end of the first 2 days of the visit, I had already decided to purchase a piece of land, and the 2nd followed 4 months later. \u201cBefore Matt and I made the decision to buy our land with DTN, we seriously considered investing in an apartment in Europe. We really liked the properties that we researched, and we met with agents on more than one occasion. Every time we talked to them, Matt and I agreed that we liked the properties but we didn\u2019t have a good feeling about the real estate agent or the agency manager. We finally decided that no matter how great a property might seem, we also wanted to deal with a seller we could trust, and we got what we were looking for with DTN. We\u2019re truly happy to have done the legwork and make an informed decision. We trusted our impressions and our judgement. That\u2019s how we decided to buy land from DTN in Quebec.\u201d<\/p>\n

We chose a lot in Nostalgia to build a second home. We entrusted our plans with the Harkins company, and all that\u2019s left now is to give them the green light to start building our log home.<\/p>\n
